An article by Frank Stewart, coeditor of Living Spirit, appeared in the August 8, 2011, edition of the Ryukyu Shimpo, a newspaper published in Okinawa. Madoka Nagado, a graduate student in the English department of the University of Hawai‘i–Manoa, translated the piece into Japanese for the newspaper.
